Unfortunately there is a change in program:
Of The Walking Dead there is just a short trailer shown, afterwards the movie Night of the Living Dead.
The rednecks among the undead are back. For several years, we have seen a throng of zombies crawl back onto the silver screen – and now, for the first time, they are back by the thousands to stumble across the tube as well. American cable network AMC adds to the trend with a lavish original production: the spectacular horror series THE WALKING DEAD. Frank Darabont, the director of feature films like THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and THE MIST, has adapted Robert Kirkman’s monthly comic of the same name for the series. The story revolves around small town cop Rick Grimes. After a shooting, he awakens in a hospital only to realize that the entire country is in a state of disarray: within a short span of time, zombies have turned the better part of the population into brain-dead revenants. Joined by a handful of other survivors, Grimes goes on a search for his family – and a safe place to eventually build a new life.
