Three women from three generations meet in a mental hospital. 19-year-old Leila (Jella Haase) is looking to find her way. She may not know where she is headed, but she does know she wants to feel alive. So Leila is drifting through the city, always chasing the next kick. Thirty-something Frenja (Lana Cooper) knows what she is looking for. She wants her life with her husband and their daughter back, which slipped away when she got sick. But did she really have everything she wanted back then? Ann (Marie-Lou Sellem) is no longer looking. She has lived her life and seen the world, allowed herself to drift and to be loved. In the end, the one thing that always stuck with her was the feeling of having to leave. In their time at the hospital, the three women form a strong bond charged with energy, honesty, and erotic tension. But, without this love, will they find the courage to get back onto the roller coaster of the outside world?
