The behind-the-scenes view of the Clinton presidential campaign features George Stephanopoulos and James Carville, the two men responsible for Bill Clinton moving into the White House: Strategies are designed, offensives are countered and the press is fed with weak spots of the opposition party – the systematic construction of a media personality. The film looks at the interplay of high politics and the media but also presents the future president wearing jogging shorts and a baseball cap. A revealing and entertaining piece of contemporary history, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 1994.
