British documentary filmmaker Phil Grabsky won the phoenix award this year for his poignant contemporary documentary MY CHILDHOOD, MY COUNTRY: 20 YEARS IN AFGHANISTAN. The award, donated by the TV station phoenix, honours the best documentary film in the festival programme.
