NRW COMPETITION
Outstanding fictional and non-fictional productions and co-productions from North Rhine-Westphalia. In this section, an independent jury awards the NRW Film Prize, which comes with a cash prize of 20,000 euros.
SPECIAL SCREENINGS
Film and TV screenings in collaboration with partners of the FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE. In this section, everything is possible, from popular TV series and shows to films by emerging talents and major Hollywood blockbusters.
FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE AWARDS
The festival's prestigious highlight is the presentation of awards to filmmakers, including the Cologne Film Award, the NRW Film Award and the Hollywood Reporter Award. A total of 75,000 euros in prize money will be awarded.
ARTIST TALKS
Inspiring encounters with prominent creative figures. In live and in-person conversations, directors and other filmmakers offer insights into their work, visions and creative processes.
