A POET

Oscar is a poet! Fort he middle aged Colombian his profession is his calling, even though he doesn't earn any money from it. But at some point, his family makes it clear to him that they won’t support him forever, so Oscar reluctantly takes a job as a teacher. One of his students is Yurlady, and Oscar immediately recognizes her extraordinary talent for writing. But the girl, who comes from a poor family, has little interest in the high art. A tragicomedy about the injustice of art. Winner of the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes.
