A REAL PAIN

Estranged cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin) embark on a journey to Poland to visit the homeland of their late grandmother, a Holocaust survivor. On the so-called Holocaust tourism trail, they encounter historical sites—and old tensions. While David leads an orderly life with his family, Benji struggles with inner emptiness, lacking purpose and perspective. What begins as a family pilgrimage develops into an intense dialogue about trauma, memory, and the indelible bonds of family.
