AMERICAN SWEATSHOP

Daisy has one oft he worst jobs in the world: She is a moderator for social media, reviewing flagged content. Snuff films and porn have a mind-numbing effect on her and her co-workers. But when she comes across a particularly gnarly video, Daisy comes undone and starts to investigate on her own. Uta Briesewitz worked as a DOP and director on legendary shows like THE WIRE, STRANGER THINGS, BLACK MIRROR and SEVERENCE. Her directorial movie debut is a dystopian, deeply disturbing social thriller about the dark side of the digital world and our complacency towards it.
