ASSASSINS

In 2017 the half-brother of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un was killed in Kuala Lumpur with the deadly nerve agent VX. The two female “assassins” didn’t know what they were doing: they thought they were hired for a hidden camera prank video. Ryan White’s documentary shines a light on the political background and the following complications – but concentrates on the biographies of the two young women who stumbled unwittingly into a deadly global spy intrigue and came out alive on the other side only by sheer luck.
