BEASTS CLAWING AT STRAWS

A designer bag full of money, a handful of characters with financial troubles and a mute hired killer – these are the explosive ingredients of this stylish and cleverly constructed Korean thriller. Writer-director Kim Yong-hoon mixes familiar genre elements to achieve his very own and extremely entertaining game of greed and betrayal. This year's International Film Festival Rotterdam awarded the film the Special Jury Award for this achievement.
