BIRD

Twelve-year-old Bailey lives with her father Bug and her brother, who is entering puberty, in a dilapidated squat in northern Kent. In search of stability and adventure, she encounters a mysterious man named Bird, who seems gentle and dreamlike and wears a kilt. His presence, which combines social realism and magic, opens up new perspectives for Bailey on responsibility, family, and love in a dysfunctional world.
