Director and actress Maryam Zaree set out for a journey to find out about the violent circumstances of her birth in one of the world's most infamous political prisons. Her parents were imprisoned after the Iranian revolution – which is something the family didn't talk about for a long time. With her film Zaree now tries to shine a light into the abyss of oblivion. She and her producer Alex Tondowski will be available for questions after the screening.
