After fourty-something Markus Becker falls into a coma following an accident, the doctors give him only a few days to live. But his brother Michael fights tirelessly for Markus, trying to keep him alive and connected to the world with the help of tape recordings and memorabilia. He puts his own life completely on hold for several years in order to care for his brother and re-awaken his mental facilities. Julia Horn's quiet and intense long term documentary is a moving testament to a truly deep human connection.
