DAS FREIWILLIGE JAHR
Jette wants to spend a voluntary year of social work in a Costa Rican hospital. Or is that rather her father’s plan, with the provincial doctor projecting his own wanderlust onto his daughter? And then there is the love of Jette’s life, Mario, who she would have to leave behind for twelve whole months. No wonder the day of her departure doesn’t go as planned at all. Ulrich Köhler (IN MY ROOM) and Henner Winckler (LUCY) tell a lively story about a generational conflict, where the classical roles can’t be pinned down so easily anymore.
