Through dignity, modesty and hard work, Stojan holds his poor family together without complaint. When one day he wakes up to realize that he has a halo hovering over his head, it paradoxically leads Stojan to a literal life of sin. And Stojan's absurd story is just one of three satirical episodes dealing with humanity and divinity. Writer-director Srdjan Dragojević plumbs the grotesque depth of Europe's social divide.
