FRIESLAND – GEISTERSTUNDE

While his colleague Süher is helping out on Langeoog, cop Henk is investigating all by himself in the city of Leer, East Frisia. This time, local GP Dr Mommsen is found dead on the beach – was it an accident with his sail wagon or sabotage? In addition to the usual quarrels with his boss Brockhorst, Henk also has to deal with rampant computer problems, occult séances and a mysterious newcomer to the village. The latest film in the humorous North Coast crime series flirts with nocturnal ghost stories during Sophie Dal’s maternity leave, but fortunately remains true to its down-to-earth, all-too-human tragicomedy.
