GAME CHANGE

In a gripping two hours, HBO’s made-for-television movie GAME CHANGE revisits the full story of Sarah Palin’s candidacy for Vice President in the US presidential elections 2008. This is a strikingly fair account. In its look behind the scenes, the film reveals that in the end, Palin was no more than a (willing) victim of a political machine bent on doing well in polls rather than on actually championing political ideas. Julianne Moore is totally immersed in her role as the governor from Alaska, and Woody Harrelson is equally convincing as campaign manager Steve Schmidt, who belatedly realizes his mistake.
