Day labourer and amateur boxer Andi just can’t get a break. He cares for his three kids from two ex-wives as best as he can, while always trying to keep his fragile temper in check. But the financial strain keeps mounting until things threaten to spiral out of control. The feature debut of screenwriter and director Barbara Ott is a gripping mixture of social realism, family drama and sports movie, with break-out star Jannis Niewöhner turning in another physical and emotional acting masterclass.
