Unionist Maureen Kearney represents the rights of 50.000 workers of the French nuclear fuel cycle company Areva. Shortly after she had made public a secret nuclear deal with China she is brutally abused in her home by strangers. But then the victim herself becomes the suspect. Isabelle Huppert plays Kearney just as resolute as she is fragile in this conspiracy thriller, based on a true story that shows once again that there are still different rules for women in the upper echelons of power.
