Old Hatidze lives with her geriatric mother in the Macedonian mountains, earning her living with traditional bee-keeping. When a large family settles down close to her, she's happy at first that her loneliness is over. But her new neighbours start competing with her honey business by employing modern methods. Tamara Kotevska's und Ljubomir Stefanov's stunning documentary was a triple winner at this year's Sundance festival, and deservedly so: breathtaking images, a subtly symbolic story and a fascinating fate in the film's centre make this an unforgettable experience.
