LOOK SHORT FILMS

From the blue waves of the Portuguese coast (AZUL (BLUE HAS NO DIMENSIONS)) to the remote shores of the Siberian arctic (HAULOUT), from the halls of the International Court of Justice in Den Haag (IN FLOW OF WORDS) to Hollywood’s luxurious mansions (STARFUCKERS) – while the settings couldn’t be more different, the protagonists all have one thing in common: they’re in an existential crisis. The four short films in this programme all find their very own means of expressing this, visualizing topics like climate change, war crimes or sex work with mass scenes with animals, with drag performances or with intense concentration.
