From AGUIRRE, THE WRATH OF GOD (1972) to COBRA VERDE (1987) director Werner Herzog kept on casting the actor Klaus Kinski – a collaboration that was as challenging as it was successful. In this already legendary documentary Herzog showcases Kinski's provocative behavior and explosive rage – which the director countered successfully with an almost frightening calmness.
