APOCALYPSE NOW meets LORD OF THE FLIES in this epic film trip by Colombian director Alejandro Landes. A group of young guerilleros is watching over a US hostage in the Andes mountains. But semi-automatic weapons and uncontrollable hormones don't mix well. The last remains of discipline are thrown overboard when the hostage stages an escape attempt and the group falls apart in the jungle. MONOS won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance. Music by Mika Levi (UNDER THE SKIN).
