PUSHER II

The second part of the PUSHER saga puts Mads Mikkelsen's skinhead lower class dealer front and centre. Recently released from prison he has to contend with his brutal criminal father and the drug-addicted mother of his unwanted child. Escalation is inevitable. Like Rutger Hauer in the early Paul Verhoeven films, you can see Mikkelsen flourish to top form in these extraordinary circumstances. He will probably never be allowed to act quite as ruthlessly amoral and unrestrained as he was here. Excellent.
