RETURN TO SEOUL
As a baby, Freddie was adopted by a French couple. At 25 she returns to her country of birth South Korea for the first time. By accident she learns that she could contact her birth parents through a governmental office, which she hesitantly dares to try. What starts as an adoption drama turns into a character study of a woman finding her own way beyond all expectations from east or west. And a psychological profile of a country that has gone through almost explosive development in recent decades.
