The young Bosnian woman Alma navigates her live between two cultures and two phases of her life. She usually lives in the Netherlands with her mother, but is currently visiting her homeland to see her dying father for the last time. Both laconic and colourful, both realistic and surreal, Ena Sendijarevic's refreshing debut feature tells of a coming of age. She was rewarded with a Special Jury Award at this year's International Film Festival Rotterdam.
