TAMING THE GARDEN
A majestic tree on a transportation boat floats over the Black Sea. Soon it will join dozens of fellow trees, all uprooted across Georgia to be replanted in a private park owned by the country's richest and most powerful person. Without any comment TAMING THE GARDEN observes this gigantic transplantation project, which necessitates roads to be widened and innumerable other trees to be felled. These are pictures of surreal beauty telling a pointed tale about societal imbalance.
