UNDER THE WIRE

Marie Colvin was a hero. Sporting her trademark eye patch, the Sunday Times war correspondent has been reporting from all major conflict sites in the world since 1985. In 2012 she and her photographer Paul Conroy were among the very few international journalists reporting about the suffering of the civilian population in the Syrian city of Homs. The 56-year-old paid for her courage with her life during a targeted bombing. UNDER THE WIRE is the report of a voyage into hell, which even as a fiction film couldn’t be any more dramatic.
