It's David vs. Goliath: Robert Billot, a commercial lawyer from Cincinnati, takes on DuPont, the world's largest chemical company, after he finds out that the popular non-stick pan coating Teflon is highly toxic. It's a fight for which Billott was awarded the Alternative Nobel Prize in 2017. Todd Haynes (CAROL) turns his story into an ecological thriller that shines with its masterfully drawn characters. Star and co-producer Mark Ruffalo is stellar as a lawyer who does the right thing.
