From October 9-16, 2025, we will once again showcase the latest global trends in the film industry, present outstanding works of audiovisual storytelling, and welcome some of the most important national and international filmmakers to Cologne. Throughout the year, we remain present across the city — with surprise Sneak Peek screenings and our popular Summer Cinema events in various Cologne locations.
To support our team during the festival, we are looking for dedicated volunteers.
As a volunteer, you will support us in the following areas:
- Supervising cinema auditoriums
- Coordinating cinema entry
- Managing press and guest lists
- Issuing accreditations and assisting visitors with questions
- Selling tickets at cinema box offices
- Assisting with receptions and festival guests
- Supporting the jury
- Setting up and taking down branding materials
Time commitment:
- During Summer Cinema events and Sneak Peek screenings
- During the festival week, October 9–16, 2025
Volunteer shifts during the festival:
- 5 days of work, each with a maximum of 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute break

- A behind-the-scenes look at an international film festival
- A team event before the festival
- Three full days of festival access with an All Access accreditation on your non-working days
- Official festival merchandise
- A certificate of participation
- A closing party for all volunteers
