Global Day – Stories for Change
Moving images and modern audiovisual media are indispensable when trying to communicate themes around foreign aid and its actors. Not only because social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Twitter reach a large audience and can inform and emotionalize people, but also because they can motivate direct action. But how do you use moving images effectively? The Global Day presented strategies, current project and best practice cases. Additionally, in the evening of Global Day the NRW Media Award for Sustainable Development and Engagement was awarded for the second time to honor developmental political activism and outstanding moving image campaigns.
