THE BALLAD OF GENESIS AND LADY JAYE

A love story with a difference. In 1993, agent provocateur, and co-founder of the groundbreaking bands, Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, Genesis P-Orridge married former nurse and dominatrix Lady Jaye Breyer. In 1995, the couple began to subject themselves to a series of surgical procedures intended to increase their likeness to each other. Their goal was the creation of the »pandrogynous« being, »Breyer P-Orridge«. French director Marie Losier has spent several years following the pair. The film reveals that there actually was a great love story behind all the shrillness.
