THE CURSE

The road to hell is paved with good intentions – that could have been the motto of this mad and crazy funny A24 series that could only have come from the brains of Nathan Fielder (THE REHEARSAL) and Benny Safdie (UNCUT GEMS). Emma Stone plays the daughter of a slumlord who, together with her husband Ash (Fielder), tries to compensate for her guilty conscience with social commitment – In front of the cameras of an unscrupulous reality TV director (Safdie). The humour doesn't get any blacker this year.
