The power of images meets the world in motion: Acute world events were once again a particular focus of the FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE 2021. We screened films such as MY CHILDHOOD, MY COUNTRY - 20 YEARS IN AFGHANISTAN, SABAYA, LINGUI - THE SACRED BONDS or SEM DHUL, which all deal with relevant and current issues in our world. The Global Day once again presented strategies, current projects and best practice cases on how moving image can be used as an instrument to implement development policy goals. In its second year, the NRW-Medienpreis für entwicklungspolitisches Engagement once again honored three outstanding campaigns for the implementation of global goals.
