Ambre a disparu

After winning a »Mini-Miss« beauty contest little 8 year old Ambre has mysteriously disappeared. Inspector Eva Lorca takes on the case although she actually has troubles enough of her own to contend with: Her husband remains in a coma following a car accident, she is increasingly losing the plot with son Tony, and is herself relying heavily on alcohol to dull the pain. 

The clever storyline plays subtly on viewers’ expectations and revolves, in the best Chabrol tradition, around small town bigwigs; the world of firmly ensconced pillars-of-the-community with neat front gardens. 

Starring French cinema legend Miou-Miou (LES VALSEUSES, MILOU EN MAI, LA LECTRICE) at the peak of her powers.
