Accreditation

Here you can apply for accreditation for the 36th FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE.

Festival accreditation is valid for the entire FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE 2026 and gives you access to all public screenings as well as the special events and artist talks with our award-winners. Accredited guests can also look forward to our festival catalogue, our popular festival bag and small gifts from our partners.

Registration Deadline: 8 October 2026 (23:59 CET)

Online Payment Deadline: 15 October 2026 (23:59 CET)

Please note that the accreditation will only be released after successful verification of the documents.

Industry Accreditation

Representatives of the film and media industry can be accredited. Please register for these events on the respective event pages.

If you would like to be accredited as a professional, please provide the following information:

  • company name
  • company address
  • function in the company

Industry-accredited guests may also register for:

  • opening and closing receptions
  • festival parties and networking events
  • exclusive industry networking opportunities

Please note that access to these events is subject to prior registration and availability.

The accreditation fee is EUR 40 for the Early Bird rate. The regular fee is EUR 50.

Accreditation for Students

Students of all disciplines can be accredited. Please provide the following information:

  • name of the university
  • name of the study program
  • valid proof of enrolment

Accreditation Media

Reporting journalists can be accredited. Please provide the following information:

  • address of the editorial office
  • valid press ID
  • link to a recent publication

The fee for media accreditation is EUR 20.00.

General registration deadline

The general deadline for registration is: October 8th, 2026 (23:59 CET)

Once the accreditation process is complete, you will receive all necessary information by email in early October.

Festival accreditation is valid for FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE 2026 and grants access to the sessions and all public screenings as long as individual tickets are available.

Individual tickets for the respective screening can be picked up from 8 am two days before the screening in the online shop with your code and upon presentation of your festival accreditation at the box office in the festival centre. There will also be a last-minute queue at each screening to fill the last seats.
