"This movie is not intended to give a comforting answer."

DIE THEORIE VON ALLEM avoids strong emotional outbursts in the storyline. The soundtrack, on the other hand, is symphonic and pathetic throughout the entire film. Soundtracks are Timm Kröger's obsession. As a reference for his film, he wanted a score similar to the works of Paul Misraki, who composed the music, for instance, for Godard's film ALPHAVILLE.

When Kröger was asked, as a piano student, what he would have wanted to play, he replied >>Jurassic Park<<. He's not concerned with the separation between E and U. He just blends everything together and then puts it in the particle accelerator of his imagination. The result is a surprisingly great, mature film from a young, thrilling artist.
