A Cry From the Grave

In July 1995, the most horrific massacre on European soil since the end of World War II took place in Srebrenica where over 7,000 Bosnian Muslims are systematically liquidated by General Mladic‘s troops. Dutch UN forces were forced to look on helplessly at what transpired around them. Leslie Woodhead’s minute reconstruction leaves no room for apathy. Never before has the drama of terror been brought home so ruthlessly, at least not with the means available to the documentary film. A true masterpiece.
