European Work In Progress Cologne was a business event presented by the AG Verleih and supported by Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, which took place for the first time at this year's Film Festival Cologne. With film clips and trailers international cinematic fiction film projects were presented to the audience as well as to distributors, sales agents, co-producers and creative partners. The goal was to create new networking possibilities between different business actors. The international jury, consisting of Aistė Račaitytė (Sales & Acquisitions, Vilnius Film Festival), Pernille Munk Skydsgaard (Distributor & Producer, 41Shadows), Olimpia Pont Cháfer (International Film Consultant) and Jonas Dornbach (Producer, Komplizen Film) awarded four projects with vouchers for post-production services endowed with 20,000 €, respectively 15,000 € provided by the MMC Studios as well as a voucher for sound-post-production services worth 10,000 € by the K13 Studios and the subtitling of a film in two languages worth 2 x 2,000 € provided by eclair.
