PRODUCERS XCHANGE FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED PRODUCTION COMPANIES IN GERMANY

Thursday, 11. Oct 2018, 14:00
show all movies from 2018

In cooperation with Film- und Medienverband NRW

The worldwide concentration of global players has already reached the German market for audiovisual content. Sought-after licensing catalogs, low production cost through synergies, and the acquisition of distributors of original German content have given the international companies in this country gigantic turnover. Additionally the broadcasters have taken to produce whatever content they need through their own subsidiary companies, while brands found their own content units for advertising, thus pulling their budgets from the marketplace. It‘s time to act.

The PRODUCERS XCHANGE was all about exchange of experiences, business updates, future perspectives and the pooling of competences, because especially the diversity of small providers can provide chances through individualization and demarcation against global multinationals and the tonalities of broadcasting conglomerates.
