Petja and Kiril were only just 18 when they volunteered for military duty in Chechenya – not out of political conviction, but because they needed the money. They come back crippled. Over a span of three years, renowned camera man Johann Feindt (DIE SPIELWÜTIGEN) and Tamara Trampe have observed the young veterans in their struggle to reintegrate into the civil world.
