Merce Cunningham, one of the 20th century's most important dancers and choreographers, would have turned hundred this year. With the help of rare archive material of the master himself, 3D choreographies with dancers from his last ensemble and interview footage with Cunningham Alla Kovgan retells the story of the avantgardist's early years especially, like his first collaboration with composer John Cage and the tours with his legendary Cunningham Company.
