Five old friends have to prove themselves one last time. To quote the famous line from the BLUES BROTHERS: „We’re putting the band back together!“ 30 years after the hopeful young band Bochums Steine have separated after a disastrous live performance, fatally ill Rainer tries to re-activate his old cronies – ironic, since it was him who screwed it all up for them all this time ago. In this surprisingly emotional rock dramedy the GENERATION WAR team of director Philipp Kadelbach and writer Stefan Kolditz once again prove their instinct for contemporary history and generational conflict – albeit with a completely different tonality and perfect comic timing.
