And it's true: WINTERMÄRCHEN captivates its audience from the very first moments. Or rather: it takes them hostage. Becky and Tommi have been laying low for a while now, without money, in a shabby apartment, riling each other up. They want to kill migrants, but their plan doesn't really get off the ground. Until Maik joins them. Bonny tosses his audience into the oppressive closeness of this right-wing threesome, who are less motivated by politics and more by narcissism and an inability of empathy. The resemblance to the NSU terrorist trio are certainly not coincidental.
