A man awakes in a foggy vineyard – next to a dead girl and with no memories. In the small village of Kaltenzell he finds basic help and a place to stay, but also countless new riddles. Besides the quirky inhabitants, who guard a couple of dark secrets of their own, he also has to confront his visions – and the dead girl who is actually alive and this year's Wine Queen. He is seduced by a mysterious woman, attacked by a faceless stranger – and when a real murder takes place all his nightmares seem to become reality. After ADD A FRIEND, this is the second production of German pay TV channel TNT Serie. This venture into the realm of the psychological thriller and the thick atmosphere of gloom and mystery is a highly unusual gamble for the German TV landscape, and it completely pays off. The cast, centering on ADD A FRIEND veteran Friedrich Mücke, is prominently refined with the likes of Gudrun Landgrebe in supporting roles, all of whom are seamlessly integrated into this dark horror story.
