Yes, this is possible.
An event is sold out online. Is there still a chance to get tickets at the box office?
If an event is sold out online, there are no more tickets at the box office. However, it is possible that blocked contingents will be released at a later date.

Accreditation

For whom is accreditation possible?
Accreditation is possible for film professionals and other representatives of the industry, for students of relevant subjects and for reporting journalists.
Is an accreditation fee charged?
An accreditation fee of 75 € is charged for subject accreditation and a reduced fee of 35 € for student accreditation.
I have been successfully accredited. When will I receive further information?
After the accreditation process has been completed, you will receive all necessary information by e-mail in mid-October.
What are the advantages for accredited persons?
Festival accreditation grants access to all public performances, as long as single tickets are available, as well as to the professional events and artist talks. It does not guarantee admission.
As an accredited person, do I need individual tickets for all screenings?
Yes, single tickets are required for all public screenings. A special ticket contingent will be held back for accredited persons, which you can access two days before the film via the accredited ticket shop.
How do I get tickets?
Two days before a film (from 8am) you can get one free single ticket each online in the ticket shop or at the box office in the cinema.
One screening is sold out in the free sale. Are tickets still available for accredited persons?
Yes, a separate ticket contingent is held back for accredited persons for each screening. Only when this is exhausted are there no more tickets available.
Can I use my accreditation to come to a sold-out film for which I don't have a ticket and sit in an empty seat?
There is not expected to be a last-minute queue this year.
When can I pick up my accreditation documents?
You will receive your accreditation documents at the accreditation desk at 25hours Hotel the Circle (Im Klapperhof 22-24, 50670 Cologne) from 19 October 2022.

Is the accreditation transferable?
No, the accreditation is not transferable.
Can I have my accreditation refunded if I cannot come?
Unfortunately, a refund is only possible in justified exceptional cases.
