THE ASSISTANT

The assistant is the first one in the office in the morning, and she’ll be the last to leave at night. In between there are her boss’s meetings to organize, flights to book, letters to open, coffee to brew and copies to make. Her boss is an important film producer. We never see him, we only hear his voice when he berates someone. Even without being physically present he is a menacing threat – are there even worse things going on in his room? A subtle film about abuse of power and the silence that enables it.
