Feminist, Marxist, model – Bernadetta Barzini has combined some contradictions in her lifetime. The Italian posed for Vogue when she was just 20 years old, was photographed by Richard Avedon and hung around Andy Warhol. Shortly after that she became a passionate feminist and mother of four children. Her son Beniamino Barrese wants to craft a cinematic monument to her – but the woman who spent her life in front of the camera actually hates being filmed. It's the start of a power struggle with an septuagenarian who is both eloquent and temperamental, both giving and refusing cooperative. What a woman!
