Detour

Alma (Luise Heyer) secretly takes her young son Juri (Ilja Bultmann) on a journey in order to get Jan (Alex Brendemühl) to admit to their love affair. They tramp towards Berlin with delivery truck driver Bruno (Lars Rudolph), who clumsily tries to get intimate with Alma at a truck stop, only to be rejected. Without knowing, she hurts him so much by doing so, that he loses all inhibitions. DETOUR combines the genres of family drama and thriller in a truly original way.
