Who are the people who support Donald Trump, even violently? HOMEGROWN follows three of them, an Air Force veteran in New York, an expectant father with a frightening collection of weapons in New Jersey and a charismatic Texan who is trying to harness the local Black Lives Matter movement of all things for his own ends. The film ends with dramatic images of the storming of the Capitol, the camera always close to one of the protagonists. A staggering film that could hardly be more urgent.
